09年最为催泪的电影之一《我姐姐的守护者》有着优美精致的画面，片中配以的插曲也多是以独立音乐人的作品为主，充分融入剧情，首首动听。这首Feels Like Home来自英国的独立乐人Edwina Hayes的翻唱，清亮的嗓音沁人心脾，配合主人公在海边的画面，极度催泪。

片中採用大量的歌曲来描述角色的内心世界，每每都有画龙点睛的效果，让观众在当下就能深刻体会剧中人的喜怒哀乐！爱尔兰民谣新秀Edwina Hayes翻唱Randy Newman经典曲〈Feels Like Home〉，在凯特病危之际，一家人暂时放下之前的争执，陪她在海边共度一日的片段出现，清丽的嗓音娓娓道来感人的辞意，切中当时的情境，为电影最催泪的时刻！精灵才女Regina Spektor的〈Better〉为凯特与她同为病友的男友之间的纯纯恋曲注入了一丝甜意，另外新民谣浪行者Pete Yorn的新曲〈Don't Wanna Cry〉、上尉诗人James Blunt畅销曲〈Carry You Home〉，以及许久未献声的摇滚女伶E.G.
